Cheese, Herbs, Veggies etc

The other main section of the Agora is the fresh vegetables which is mostly outdoors. (The meat and fish section are covered). In the vegetable section you will see refugees, mostly Russian, selling packs of cigarettes, cologne and just about anything they can turn over for a profit.

To the left are the vegetable stands. You can't see them but on the right are the shops that sell live chickens and rabbits for eating.

I love the stores that sell olives and pickles. In fact I made a whole page for one of them that you can see by
clicking here.

Of course there are the shops that sell feta

and plenty of other types of cheeses

Do you like sauasages? You came to the right place. Even if you can't really take them back to your room and cook them, it is fun to see the variety of sausages and other foods.

These stores sell dried fruit and nuts, perfect for snacks and ferry trips.

This are my favorite peanuts. They are really salty and go great with beer.

There are several petshops in the Agora where you can find animals that you won't find in a pet shop in the USA such as this toucan. In one shop they had 2 cardinals with a sign saying that they were very rare. Next time we went back they had been sold.
